A massive well done to the Sea Marshals Armed Security Team that last night dealt with a prolonged attack from pirates whilst deployed in the Red Sea ( 2045UTC Psn 15-50,4N / 041-30.8E) . The 3 skiffs were unsuccessful in their attempts to board the bulk carrier in 3 separate co-ordinated attacks. The security team carried out their Standard Operating Procedures, ensured the crew were safe and repelled each attack with containing shots. During the attack the clients were kept informed throughout by the Sea Marshals Operational Headquarters in Cardiff.
